When is the entrance open all the way through?
At a major airport terminal, outer and inner doors separate the air-conditioned building from outside. A center sliding door adds another barrier. The study examined when these doors were open together.
Door-event data makes the pattern visible.
Comparing the openings showed when the center door interrupted the direct path through the entrance. That gives the facilities team evidence about how the entrance operates.

The reference is time with both original doors open. The comparison is time with all three doors open during the same months. These are simultaneous-opening measurements, not separate before-and-after installation periods.
Open-through time describes how long a direct path is available. It is not a measurement of hot-air volume, cooling energy or maintenance savings.
